Virgin or off-spec SBS natural is a high-performance thermoplastic elastomer belonging to the family of styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymers. It is a versatile material designed to offer an excellent balance between mechanical strength, elasticity and processability, making it ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable and high-performing materials.
Thanks to its linear triblock structure, with a minimal diblock content, our SBS ensures good tensile strength, excellent elongation and controlled flexibility. The medium styrene content gives the material increased rigidity and compatibility with other polymers such as polystyrene, polyolefins and adhesive resins, improving performance in technical compounds.
The product comes in porous granules, with good bulk density and high dimensional stability. It is easy to process by extrusion, injection molding and compounding, without requiring major modifications to existing equipment. It is also suitable for co-extrusion, blow molding or calendering processes thanks to its excellent workability and heat resistance.
Why choose our SBS natural?
Our SBS is a reliable technical solution for numerous industrial applications, thanks to the combination of high mechanical performance, processability and compatibility with other materials. We offer technical support on request and constant availability in Europe, with flexible logistics solutions for both small and large supplies.

PIR and PCR: two acronyms, two materials, two prices
PIR and PCR often get used as if they were two ways of saying “recycled”. They aren’t. They’re two different materials, born in two different worlds — and that difference in origin decides three things a buyer actually cares about: performance, price, and what you can declare. Let’s take them in turn. The two acronyms,
Recycled Post-Industrial PLA (R-PLA): Properties, Certifications and Applications
PLA is the most widely used bioplastic in the world, but its story doesn’t end with the first use. When clean production scrap is recovered and reprocessed, you get recycled PLA — a material that is bio-based and recycled at the same time. This guide explains what R-PLA is, how it’s made, what properties and certifications it has,
How a batch of recycled material is qualified
“Recycled”, printed on a datasheet, isn’t enough. When a buyer receives a batch of recycled material, the question that matters isn’t “is it recycled?” but “can you prove what it is — batch after batch?”. Qualifying a batch means lining up four things that hold together: the stream it comes from, the consistency between one batch and the
